Reiki is a noninvasive method of healing with energy.  It can be done in person (hands on, several inches above the body or in a group setting) and remotely (both distance and time).  Reiki doesn’t interfere with other methods of treatment and is a great compliment.  Reiki for people is usually done with hands on methods, but can also be remote.

Animals are very sensitive to the Reiki energy and respond much quicker than people.  When I send Reiki energy to an animal, I let the animal tell me how they want to receive it.  Some animals want my hands directly on them, others don’t want to be touched.  The Reiki energy is just as strong and powerful during my remote sessions.  Regardless of the method, animals will turn away or get up and leave when they are “full”.
